Conference Objectives:
The primary focus of IEEE Sudan subsection is to create a strong platform that can facilitate research culture among Sudanese research and development community and strengthen partnerships with its international counterpart. The International Conference on Computing, Electrical and Electronic Engineering (ICCEEE 2013) is one of the basic initiatives to build this platform. ICCEEE 2013 is the first ever IEEE conference in Sudan, technically sponsored by IEEE Region 8 and many local universities, organizations and institutes. The conference will feature a comprehensive technical program in addition to expo program including keynote speeches, industrial workshops, tutorials and technology forums. All papers presented in the conference will be published in conference proceedings and IEEE Xplore?. Full details of submission procedures are available at http://conference_website. ICCEEE will be held in the Corinthia Hotel, Khartoum, Sudan. IEEE Sudan is calling for industry forum, workshop, tutorial proposals, and original technical papers to be submitted in all areas, including (but not limited to):
?	Computing
o	Mathematical Methodologies, Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT Applications, Mobile Computing, Artificial Intelligence and Expert Systems, Grid Computing, and Fuzzy Systems.
?	Electrical Engineering
o	Power Systems, Control System, Energy, Environment and Sustainability & Electric Machine Control, Instrumentation, and Renewable Energy, Adaptive, Optimization, and Reliability methods for Electrical Systems.
?	Electronics
o	Applied electronics, Microprocessor Systems, Microcontrollers, Embedded Systems, Signal Processing, Communications, Networking, MEMS, Nanotechnologies, VLSI Design, and Semiconductor Devices, Fault-Detection. Fault Tolerance design, simulation, and analysis.
?	Biomedical Engineering
o	Brain-Computer Interfaces, Spectroscopic Applications, Imaging and Visualization Devices, Computer-Aided Detection and Diagnosis, and Biomedical Instrumentation, Genetic Algorithms, Genetic Programming, neural network, and wavelet applications for bio-signals Analysis. VLSI, FPGA, DSP, and System-on-Chip embedded technologies for biomedical applications. 
?	Mechatronics
o	Robotics, Micro and Nano Mechatronics, Device Control Engineering, Instrumentation, Intelligent and Fuzzy Control, Industrial Automation, Engineering Design Methodology, Biomechatronics, CAD, CAM and CAE, and Precision Mechanics.
Extended Abstract and Paper Submission
An extended abstract (1-2 pages) should be submitted to the conference secretariat (either an email or online submission link (URL)). Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified to submit full-length paper (5-6 pages) which will be reviewed for presentation and publication in the conference proceedings and IEEE Xplore?. Paper format should be according to IEEE conference format, IEEE template can be downloaded from IEEE website www.ieee.org/documents/MSW_A4_format.doc (link (URL). Unregistered papers will not be published.

Awards
Best student paper: An award will be given to the best paper written solely by one or more students. An abstract is eligible if the main author(s) are full-time students at the time of submission. 
Best paper award: This award will be given to the best paper submitted to the conference as judged by the program committee.
